I’ve been busy this year, I spent last year messing about and just seeing where I wanted my work to go and whilst I have some firm ideas about what I want to do now, I am not yet happy with my level of skills to get me there. You can never learn enough or have enough fresh ideas! With that in mind, this year has been all about courses and I have already done some amazing ones – most of them free!
Below are some pictures from the courses I have done. I did a wonderful course from Newlyn School of Art about abstracting the landscape which really got me going and I am currently doing the best yet, a sketchbook course from Karen Stamper. I have had so much fun over the last two weeks and there are four more to go! I have never been so prolific and I can’t wait to see where this ends up. I have learnt so many new techniques and loosened up so much! See some of my concertina sketchbook below!
