In January 2024, just one week into leaving my career to focus on art, I collapsed, physically and emotionally. I couldn’t create, couldn’t function. It took months to understand that this wasn’t a sudden fall, but a long-overdue stop. I had been holding everything up for years.
Recovery has been slow, and life has had to change completely. But now, 18 months on, I’m about 80% back. Not to how things were, but to a new version of life that is quieter, more balanced, and more restful.
This spring I’ve been back in the studio. I’ve been playing, following the process, and letting the work come to me. I have nine paintings in progress that feel peaceful, grounded, and spacious. They’ve been part of my healing, and I’m excited to share them soon.
I’ll be releasing at least six of them for sale in August and as always, newsletter subscribers will get first access. Scroll down for a few sneak peeks!
