My work for my MA Fine Art was about the liminal space, between here and there…….
The following video work, Liminal is a cut down of a 15 min video that played continuously on a large screen at my MA Fine Art exhibition at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Shot under Millenium Bridge, over Forton Creek, it shows the liminal space between tides, and between times……..
Being present was an award winning digital art installation that challenged the viewer to stay present for 2 minutes – surprisingly hard for many people! Designed to mimic a busy, frantic mind, calming down, it created a small moment of being present….
Looking back was also exhibited at my MA exhibition and represents how we so often look back, not forward, or worse, not at all, we look at our phones, unaware of the world around us.
