For this series, the physical connection of paved paths and roads between two buildings in Portsmouth created a canvas for me to pause, settle my mind and contemplate my surroundings. Figures appear as faceless ethereal shadows or reflections, allowing the viewer to glimpse another world where details can often be overlooked in the journey between two buildings.
The series won a competition; at Portsmouth University; for a five month exhibition at Portsmouth Guildhall in 2015. The photographs were printed on dibond in varying sizes and placed in a way that reflected the two routes between the Guildhall, and the art college.
